EBSCO Open Dissertations
EBSCO Open Dissertations is a database that provides access to records of theses and dissertations from institutions around the world. It supports the sharing of electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) through institutional repositories, helping users discover academic research more easily.
The database is based on earlier work started in 2014 through a collaboration between EBSCO Information Services and the H.W. Wilson Foundation. This led to the creation of the American Doctoral Dissertations database, which initially included indexing from the print publication Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities, 1933–1955. In 2015, the coverage was expanded to include theses and dissertations from 1955 to the present.
